Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the largest federal agency within U.S. Health and Human Services (HHS), has expanded its multi-year partnership with ASSYST's Cybersecurity Practice. Our Cybersecurity program support is helping CMS Information Security and Privacy Group (ISPG) to protect CMS data as it provides leadership to CMS in managing information security and privacy risks appropriate for evolving cyber threats. ASSYST is currently supporting the ISPG Cybersecurity and Privacy program that is responsible for defining policy, providing security and privacy services, and leading compliance and oversight of the program.

We provide strategic program and project management services encompassing areas including Information System Security Officer (ISSO) services, CMS Federal Information Security Management Act Controls Tracking System (CFACTS), CMS Computer Based Training (CBT), Veteran Cybersecurity Training using the ESCALATE platform (CyberVets), Program Development and Outreach, Cybersecurity Training, and Awareness, RSA Archer Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) System Support, and Agile Coaching. The Cybersecurity services program has expanded to include Cyber Risk Advisory and Enterprise ISSO Services, including Cybersecurity Infrastructure Support.

With the growth of remote working and higher volume of digital transactions, Cybersecurity capabilities require further strengthening to protect people, information, data, and financial assets, according to Khalil Zebdi, Executive Vice President. ASSYST is standing by and is fully prepared to assist our Federal Government customers to build, operate, and maintain highly resilient Cyber operations, he added.
