    ASSYST won a single-award BPA to provide Verification and Validation (V&V) services for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Electronic Handbooks (EHBs). The EHBs System is HRSA’s mission critical investment supporting its grants and program management operations. ASSYST is providing quality assurance services for all EHBs systems and sub-systems that support thousands of internal and external users. We are helping to ensure seamless administration of more than 80 programs and nearly $10 billion dollars in annual Federal grants to approximately 3,000 partner organizations.

    ASSYST was awarded a five year $20 million Enterprise Agile Transformation Services BPA contract by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to support the enterprise-wide Agile transformation effort that encompasses IT management, governance, business process analysis, user-centered design, Agile solution design and architecture, Agile application development and configuration, analytics, integration, and DevOps. Under this contract, ASSYST’s Agile-certified experts and coaches will provide recommendations for continuous improvement and strategic direction to help CMS break down impediments to enterprise agile adoption. We will produce a CMS enterprise-wide IT Agile development training plan and curriculum for multiple audiences based on roles/responsibilities and provide coaching support for CMS agile programs and teams. This in turn will help strengthen CMS’ IT investment and the integrity of taxpayer dollars by minimizing the cost of providing essential government services.

    ASSYST has renewed its partnership with a leading global development agency with the award of a three-year master services contract to provide IT services. The agency operates in over 170 countries and territories, helping to eradicate poverty and reduce inequalities and exclusion. ASSYST will provide technology solutions and services in three task areas which include messaging and access control, global telecom and communications infrastructure support, and web application services projects. This includes Cloud based solutions development and support for Microsoft SharePoint, Office365, and PowerBI. This award is significant and adds to ASSYST's history of supporting international and multilateral institutions.

    ASSYST was awarded a recompete contract to support TRADOC Mission Command Arts and Sciences Program (MCASP) Instruction requirements at the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE), Ft. Rucker, Alabama. USAACE trains, educates and develops Army Aviation professionals and integrates indispensable aviation capabilities across warfighting functions in support of commanders and soldiers on the ground.

     

    The services in this contract include providing aviation training, network engineering, systems integration, configuration management, as well as training development and program management. ASSYST will also be providing simulation training and developing advanced Mission Command simulation training systems.

    ASSYST was awarded a contract to support the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Office of Financial Management in migrating historical transactional data from legacy applications into a streamlined and redesigned Disgorgement and Penalty System. DPS tracks and manages financial obligations related to disgorgement, penalties, fees, and associated interest. ASSYST is providing project management along with technical and financial subject matter experts to perform data extraction, cleanup, and reconciliation services related to the data migration implementation to DPS. Data from the current financial system and the other legacy systems will be extracted, analyzed, reconciled, and cleansed before being migrated to the new DPS. ASSYST's work will help further SEC's mission to protect investors by regulating and overseeing the securities industry.

    ASSYST was awarded a contract to replace and modernize the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s (NRC) Task Assignment Control System (TACS). ASSYST is implementing TACS using the Agile Development Framework. This project requires developing user stories, managing the product and sprint backlogs, managing and testing the sprints, as well as providing continuous incremental releases for the NRC TACS user community.

    ASSYST is providing project management services to ensure the continuous integration of software releases for TACS. Our Scrum Masters, Business Analyst, Release Managers, Data Architects, Solutions Architects, and Software Engineers work collaboratively with NRC to improve quality in their DevOpps environment. Our services are helping NRC better use technologies for Cloud Computing, Mobile platform, Big Data, and Cybersecurity, while improving their implementation approach.

    ASSYST is implementing Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe 4.0) for the State of Maryland by applying lean and agile practices across the enterprise. We are providing Agile Enterprise Coaching (AEC) services by advising, recommending and guiding the Department of IT (DoIT) using the SAFe methodology, and industry and government best practices.
     
    ASSYST is currently providing Release Training Engineers (RTEs) to promote the Agile program across departments. We are defining, implementing, maintaining and improving processes, tools, and metrics used to govern and support the development and continuous improvement of the Agile program.
     
    ASSYST is providing program oversight and ensuring alignment of release teams with DoIT’s Agile program.     The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) awarded ASSYST the Strategic Partners Acquisition Readiness Contract (SPARC) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) supporting Healthcare IT. The contract will be the primary vehicle for CMS to acquire IT services over the next 10 years.

     

    SPARC is a ten year, $25 billion, IDIQ contract awarded by HHS. As a small business awardee, ASSYST will compete for task orders offering a variety of IT and professional services to all the operating divisions within HHS. SPARC is managed by CMS.
